A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"My Spanish in-laws decided to take me to Bodega Los Yugos to try something new. We arrived and walked around the town for a few minutes then found the Bodega. Lovely town with a rather nice old church. Now to the Bodega - on arrival there's nothing to write home about. We entered through a small door which opened to quite a few stairs going underground (I've been in Bodegas before so knew what to expect). After finishing the stairs, we entered the Bodega and wow what a brilliant place to eat. The walls and roof were full of historical items from farm implements to alarm clocks to even some odd Japanese posters. We were greeted by really friendly staff who showed us to our table and promptly took our order. We did ask for some water and got asked "cold or from the fridge" which made the table a bit confused but I guess it's a running joke at this Bodega. We did find it funny. We ordered ribs, lamb chops, chorizo and chicken along with a salad and roasted peppers. For 4 of us, their was plenty of food to go around. If you're a vegetarian, they have a salad and roasted peppers and potatoes but don't expect anything else... The food is cooked in a flame oven just like a good old fashioned BBQ. Coming from the UK, we're used to all BBQed meat being blasted with marinade which obviously helps enhance the flavour but the food at the Bodega was so refreshing having no sauce. The food was out of this world. Nothing fancy just got old fashioned BBQ meat. No sauces etc, the meat spoke for itself. Great flavours and perfectly cooked. We think we made friends with the owner who then gave us a tour and took photos for us and a few with us. We ended the evening with some shots on the house to which my partner got me to try the 'local' shot which was not for me. Very whisky-like but then I tried the kiwi shot and much better. Overall really good, old fashioned, Spanish BBQ but in a Bodega with friendly staff and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend."
